Sarah has close to three decades of experience in the world of dentistry, and her passion for helping her team and the patients hasn’t diminished one bit. Originating from Sussex, WI, she loves working with her coworkers to improve our skills and communication while also building strong relationships with everyone who walks through our doors. She studied at Waukesha County Technical College for her undergraduate degree and certifications, and she grew to love dentistry because of its positive impact on people's lives through their smiles.
Being a self-proclaimed “dental nerd,” Sarah enjoys learning as much as possible about the dental field, and she has even undergone hundreds of hours of continuing education through some of the nation’s leading dental education institutions. She’s gained experience in various positions, including Director of Clinical Relations and Practice Management. Throughout her career, Sarah has helped coach other teams to excel in their personal and professional goals. At home, Sarah spends her time with her husband, their son and daughter, and their golden retriever. She also loves going on vacation, camping, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities!
One of the newest members of our team, Mariah was born and raised right here in Wisconsin. She attended the University of Oshkosh for her studies. When asked, she shared the best thing about her job is getting to help each patient! Providing them with the compassionate care they deserve and seeing their amazing smiles after their treatment is extremely rewarding.
Outside the office, you’ll most likely find Mariah being active in one way or another! In addition to weightlifting and swimming, she enjoys taking MMA classes and going on lots of hikes. At home, she enjoys drawing and spending time with her boyfriend and their three dogs.
Originally from Menomonee Falls, Amber has been part of the dental field for over a decade, and she joined our team at the beginning of July 2025. One of her favorite things about her job is providing comfortable and personalized care for our patients, as well as being part of an amazing team.
Outside of the office, Amber has two sons whom she absolutely adores. Her hobbies include going to the gym, watching movies, traveling, and trying new restaurants and cuisines. She considers herself a spontaneous person and loves exploring places for new adventures.
Sydney earned her dental assistant certification at the Wisconsin Dental Assistant School in 2018. Since graduating, she has received her certification in Autologous Blood Concentrates with Phlebotomy and PRP. Sydney continues to enjoy expanding her knowledge of a holistic approach to dentistry, helping patients understand their treatment, and working alongside a passionate and genuine team.
Away from the office, Sydney enjoys spending time with her daughter, Waverly, their dog, and her friends. She also loves canoeing, playing board games and video games, listening to audiobooks, true crime podcasts, and doom scrolling on TikTok. One fun fact about her: she’s a published photographer! Her dream job would involve being a nature photographer for National Geographic.
Since joining our team at Bionica Dental Wellness of Delafield, Abby has woken up genuinely excited to come to work each day! Born and raised in Wisconsin, she attended UW-Whitewater and Blackhawk Tech. Now, she has undergone training in everything from CPR and First Aid to Dialysis Care and Phlebotomy.
Abby and her fiancé are looking forward to tying the knot in the Fall of 2022! Some of her favorite ways to spend her time outside the office are taking her dog Miley for a walk and boating in Lauderdale Lakes. Here is something you may not know about her: she loves sharks and knows loads of interesting facts about them.
Emily was born and raised right here in Delafield. She joined the dental field after completing her studies at Alverno College. Today, she loves having the opportunity to be a part of an amazing team while simultaneously expanding her expertise. In fact, that’s her favorite aspect of her job!
Outside the office, Emily loves spending time with her family, especially her adorable nieces and nephews and 11-year-old cat. She loves watching classic films, collecting teacups, and reading! In the future, she’d love to improve her writing, baking, and drawing skills.
Originally from Delavan, Gabriela finds the best things about her job to be helping others, building relationships, learning as much as she can, and working alongside an incredible team. Being able to see the impact she has on people’s oral health every day is rewarding for her. She studied at MATC and gained on-the-job training in dental assisting. She’s currently studying to become a dental hygienist and is certified in phlebotomy, PRP, CPR, and Invisalign.
Outside of dentistry, Gabriela enjoys Pilates and painting, both to help her stay balanced and energized. She’s also passionate about learning new languages, reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends and loved ones. One fun fact about her is that she can remember the tiniest details from TV shows that she watched when she was 10 years old!
With over two decades of experience in the dental field, Karen joined our team in 2021. She attended Waukesha County Technical College and is now certified in the administration of local anesthetics, the use of the AMD diode laser, and topical ozone application. For her, the best part of the job is building a rapport with our patients and educating them on how the oral cavity is linked to systemic conditions and how to help prevent dental disease.
Away from the office, Karen loves spending time with her family, including her two grown children and six beautiful grandchildren who are her world. She also enjoys taking trips to Door County, hanging out with friends by the pool, and relaxing with her golden retriever, Emmy!
Sarah has been a part of the dental world for over a decade, and she says that her job is extremely fulfilling because she gets to educate patients, help them return to optimal health, and learn more about overall wellness every day. She completed her dental training through Waukesha County Technical College, and she has additional certifications in local anesthetic and laser therapy. She has also taken advanced training focused on Invisalign and ozone therapy.
Sarah is happily married with one pit bull, and she and her husband love cooking for each other as well as finding new restaurants. All of her hobbies involve being outdoors, whether she is walking, hiking, or taking the dog out for an adventure.
With an impressive 19 years of experience in the dental field under her belt, Jennifer joined our team at Bionica Dental Wellness in the summer of 2023. Now, she is proud to use her experience working in a periodontal practice, her advanced training, and her studies at UW LaCrosse and Waukesha County Technical College to serve our patients. In fact, caring for the people who walk through our front door is one of her favorite parts of her job!
When Jennifer isn’t at our office, you’ll probably find her with her two children. She also has a few hobbies, including playing tennis, working out, and spending time outdoors. Here’s a fun fact about her: she knew she wanted to be a Dental Hygienist when she was just 19 years old!
Amanda comes into work with a simple goal each day—to build long-lasting relationships with our patients in addition to helping them achieve optimal overall health! A graduate of UW-Milwaukee and Waukesha County Technical College, she has over a decade of experience and is certified in myofunctional therapy, laser dentistry, and local anesthetic.
Married with a daughter and son, when she isn’t spending quality time with friends or family, you’ll likely find her working on a new gardening project or training in martial arts, which she started at age 40!
Dr. Brian Borden earned his Doctorate of Naturopathy from the United States School of Naturopathy in Georgia.
Passionate about being able to treat the root causes of various health problems instead of just their symptoms, Dr. Borden is trained in using Computerized Bio-Resonance Screening, which is a bio-feedback that detects any imbalances, deficiencies, or obstacles the body might face that can impede wellness.
Helping individuals combat their dental problems since 2002, he has made it possible for patients to better understand how their dental health impacts their overall well-being.
